Best-selling tablet brands (Q2 2024)
TechInsights, which publishes reports for some technology-related sectors, shared global tablet market data for the second quarter of 2024. Thus, the best-selling manufacturers were revealed.
When we look at the report, we see that Apple has made its mark as the leader. The technology giant, which shipped 13.5 million units, has a market share of 38 percent. Its annual growth rate was recorded as 17 percent. The US company is followed by South Korea-based Samsung. This company made 6.9 million sales, while its market share and growth rate were stated as 20 percent and 17 percent, respectively.
Lenovo, with a 16 percent market share, is in third place with 2.5 million shipments. Xiaomi, which attracted attention with its Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric car introduced in July 2024, is in fourth place with 2.1 million sales and 6 percent market share. The Chinese technology giant achieved a growth of 138 percent.
On the other hand, Amazon, better known as an e-commerce giant, is in fifth place with 2 million shipments and 6 percent market share. The company fell by 3 percent in the tablet market.
